Health & Safety Assistance
Regulation 7 of Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 requires employers to appoint one or more competent persons to assist with the undertaking of the measures needed to comply with the requirements and prohibitions imposed upon the business, under the relevant statutory provisions.
In short this means, either employing a competent Health and Safety Manager or using a Consultant with sufficient training and experience or knowledge and other qualities, to assist with the management of health and safety within the business and compliaance with relevant legislation.
Wiser Safety Management provide a range of services that are designed to help manage the safety and health ofclients workforce.
Our Competent Person Service is a bespole service to suit our clients requirements and budget. The standard package includes
- Nominated Health & Safety Advisor
- Telephone and Email Support (up to 1 hour per month)
- One health and safety review (up to 3hrs)
- Provision of an on-line Health and Safety System
The service level can be increased to allow for additional services, whether this is additional health and safety reviews, monthly safety inspections or consulting days wher we come to your premises to manage health and safety on your behalf.
The service can also be designed to support an in-house Health & Safety Manager where employed.
